I have gas (for now....)

I drove by 6 or 7 gas stations this morning that were all out of gas. The ONE that did have gas had drivers wrapped around the block… YIKES. I have about ¾ of a tank for now. Media is advising to only get what you need and leave some for others – yeah right, that’s gonna happen!!! This “crisis” is supposed to be over within a few days – we’ll see!

On the home front: Xian continues to just LOVE school! I’m so happy and so very proud of him! I am impressed with all of his teachers and the school in general! LB, on the other hand, isn’t doing as well as she was at the beginning of the year. She cries almost every morning when I drop her off at pre-K. There is NO reason for it. She says she just misses us (Mims & me.) I hope this drama ends soon. Mims loves to be in LB’s classroom and gives her teachers hugs when we leave.

On the Iraqi front: T is doing well - PTL! He has about 8 weeks or so to go. He is reading a lot (a definite measure of his boredom.) I sent him a book titled, Wild at Heart. Now I'm beginning to wonder what kind of manly-man is going to return from the desert?!
